The central approach of our approach is to develop, build and expand connections. Between people, ideas, resources and organizations. As an association, we focus primarily on children from disadvantaged, excluded and marginalized groups who have virtually nothing. We support them to receive adequate care, food, supplies and education to be able to create a strong self-confidence and new perspectives for a self-determined life. To this end, we work with partners locally and in Europe, build further collaborations and develop with Pitch Page a tool that allows organizations, impulse providers and supporters to connect with each other and with people worldwide.

Empower and accompany children

EMPOWER CHILDREN

In order for children, whether alone or in the presence of their parents, to benefit from new offers and opened potentials, their parents and community must also be involved in the change process. If cultural, local and individual aspects were not taken into account, misunderstandings, disagreements and frustration would be pre-programmed and the further attendance of the kindergarten, the school or the participation in a measure would be endangered. Therefore, for each facility we realize or support, we work with an organization we know, which has proven itself over many years of reference and acts as a decisive partner on site. Project donations and grants of any kind flow directly into the implementation and operation of the respective measure and are always transparent and publicly traceable within the framework of a close cooperation.​

STAY ON

Supporting individual children or families within a community is fundamentally difficult. That is why we have developed a concept that makes it possible to provide long-term and permanent support to those families and children for whom you have made a special commitment. To this end, in addition to trips and on-site visits, we will also offer the opportunity to access special interviews and reports with local people. And to participate live in online events that enable personal contact from home, regardless of location.

Pitch Page Publishing für Organisationen

CONNECTIVE

The Pitch Page Publishing digital tool empowers organizations, businesses and individuals to bring together resources, partners and funders for ideas, causes and projects. The tool addresses the challenge of the often limited communication radius and expands the recipient base in breadth and depth. The integration of communicators and multipliers offers the option of generating previously unreachable people worldwide as supporters. This allows new financial, human and professional resources to be bundled, channeled and acquired.​

InteraCtivE

As a solution, a broswer-based application is offered that combines multimedia messages with functionalities for further interactions and transactions. Thus, services, goods and donations can be offered, searched and found. Different modalities, categorization and innovative functions provide valuable support for all stakeholders. A platform extends the possibilities of interaction via the application and creates additional spaces for publication and communication.​

Hybrid

Pitch Page Publishing will initially be made available to India Child Care e.V. and other non-profit organizations. Subsequently, functions will be implemented to enable and design interlocking between non profit organizations, companies and private individuals. The system will be developed and operated externally to ensure long-term planning security.​

[ LECTURE ] CHILD LABOR

Child labor expert Benjamin Pütter, vice chairman of India Child Care e.V., has traveled to India, the country with the most child laborers, more than 80 times in the last three decades and has tracked down children, interviewed them, collected evidence and freed dozens from slavery. Now he tells the stories of the boys and girls and explains the background and causes of child labor. Around the world, some 168 million children are exploited as laborers. Under the most adverse conditions, they produce carpets, make jewelry or work in quarries. They wear no protective clothing, are often malnourished and receive no education. [ LECTURE ] THE ICC ARCHITECTURE​

The initiator of the association India Child Care e.V., Sumanth Haußmann, originally comes from India, was adopted at the age of nine months and has lived in Germany ever since. In 2021, during a personally difficult time and in the midst of the Corona crisis, he made the long-held decision to found a non-profit organization. With the goal of improving the living conditions and perspectives of children in poverty in a sustainable way, as well as providing an infrastructure that supports other organizations and individuals in networking themselves and available resources, he founded the association in September 2022. The topics of the lecture lead from his own personal history, through previous points of contact with India, to the present and future of the activities begun. Besides the primary goals and approaches of the association, the importance of the related fields of pitch page publishing > and flowmapping > will be conveyed.​

In cooperation with a specialized travel agency as a partner, group trips to India are planned, which are designed, accompanied and carried out by ourselves. The goal is to get to know India both from the many, beautiful, moving and impressive perspectives, as well as to open an approach to the other sides, which can be encouraging in spite of everything and show how much can be achieved with how little. In the medium term, one or two trips a year with a group size of about 10 people are envisaged. If possible, it should be possible to offer the first trip in 2023. However, since the variables around Corona and the worldwide trouble spots are also opposed to too long-term detailed planning, only different scenarios have been planned so far. Contact- Hub

To ensure that India Child Care e.V. also has a local presence within India, a contact hub will be created. A place to arrive, to work, for the local administration and to exchange ideas. A hub where meetings and lectures can also take place. And it will be available as the association's own space for stays and project support. A location beyond public hotels and restaurants is more than advisable for these purposes.

In this way, we combine the (officially) necessary and the (administratively) sensible with the really desirable: the chance to enable real encounters on a special journey and to create a framework for this on site.
